Marlon Mack, Parris Campbell To Be Monitored This Week
5 years agoIndianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich said that running back Marlon Mack (ankle) and wide receiver Parris Campbell (abdomen) will be monitored throughout the week in practice. Mack tweaked his ankle in the Week 4 loss to the Raiders, but it was game script late in the game and not his injury that kept him off the field. He finished with a season-low 11 carries for 39 yards and didn't have a single catch. If he's healthy enough for Week 5 against the Chiefs, Mack will remain an RB2, but poor game script could work against him in that one, too. Campbell had five catches on a season-high eight targets for just 25 yards in T.Y. Hilton's (quadriceps) absence. The Colts will likely have to pass frequently against KC on Sunday night, giving Campbell WR4/flex appeal in deeper leagues, especially if Hilton misses another game.
