Sacramento Kings guard Markelle Fultz will play on Thursday against the Pelicans. The 2017 No. 1 overall pick recently signed with Sacramento after averaging 11.1 points, 4.6 assists, and 1.2 steals in 234 regular season appearances with the Sixers and Magic. The Kings recently traded De'Aaron Fox to the Spurs, so the team lacks depth at the one. While it could take Fultz time to carve out a routine role in the rotation, it's not unreasonable to assume he'll get some cracks at the starting lineup moving ahead. For now, Malik Monk should remain the Kings' starting point guard.--Dennis Clausen
