Mark Andrews Could Remain Lamar Jackson's Go-To Target
1 year agoIf training camp practices are any indication, Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews will remain quarterback Lamar Jackson's go-to target in the passing game in 2023 despite the additions of receivers Odell Beckham Jr., Nelson Agholor and rookie first-rounder Zay Flowers and the return of a healthy Rashod Bateman. The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec writes that Jackson loves throwing the ball between the numbers to his big and athletic tight end, and they've built a strong chemistry over the years. The 27-year-old certainly will have more competition for targets, but as long as he stays healthy, fantasy managers are going to expect him to finish as a top-three TE1 with the Ravens looking to improve their passing game under new offensive coordinator Todd Monken.
