Marcus Johansson Totals Three Points In Win Over Chicago
2 years agoMinnesota Wild winger Marcus Johansson took full advantage of top-line minutes in Monday's matchup against Chicago, leading the team to a 4-2 victory with two goals and one assist. He filled Kirill Kaprizov's spot on the left wing after the Wild decided to rest their superstar for the contest. His goals helped to turn the game in Minnesota's favor after the Blackhawks had grabbed a 2-1 lead. Johansson's first marker at the 14:00 mark in the third period came in a short-handed situation. The Swedish veteran benefited from a bigger role, and he's set to drop back down in the lineup Tuesday as Kaprizov is set to return, but Johansson has previously produced good numbers as well since rejoining the team in February. In 19 games with the Wild, Johansson has collected six goals and 11 assists, getting to 45 points for the whole season.
