Marco Gonzales Throws Four Uneven Innings Tuesday

Seattle Mariners starting pitcher Marco Gonzales made his second start since returning from the injured list Tuesday, going four innings. He allowed four runs on five hits and a walk with two strikeouts. Gonzales is slowly stretching out in terms of his pitch counts, as he returned to the major league rotation without a rehab assignment. After two tough innings in which he gave up all four runs, he settled down to retire the last six batters he faced. That bodes well for his next outings, as it seems he's regaining his rhythm. Gonzales took the loss in this one, but fantasy managers who roster him will be pleased at the positive signs.
