Boston Bruins forward Marc McLaughlin has earned a promotion to the second line for Friday's encounter with Tampa Bay. Boston lost David Pastrnak (undisclosed) at the start of the week and his absence has given others a chance to step up. Tomas Nosek skated on the second line Tuesday against Detroit and now it's McLaughlin's time to shine. This will be his third career appearance after he made a scoring debut against New Jersey last week. He'll skate with Erik Haula and Taylor Hall, who have combined for 21 points across the last nine games, so this is an exciting opportunity for the Boston College product.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
