Marc Leishman, currently ranked 14th in the world by the official World Golf rankings, has not played great golf as of late. In his last event, the WGC-Mexico Championship, he finished tied for 37th. He played excellent golf for the first three rounds of his week, carding no worse than a 69. His last round, however, was a disastrous 77, knocking him way off the leaderboard and dropping him to another mediocre tournament finish. Aside from his mediocre play as of late, at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, he is a risk worth taking. He won this event last year with an 11-under par total, besting the leader going into Round 4 (Charley Hoffman) by one stroke. He also has a good price point, and he is capable of keeping his rounds in the high-60s. He’s also finished in the top 10 three times on the PGA Tour, going back to October of 2017.--Drake Peaugh
