Mac Jones Ruled Out This Weekend
2 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones (ankle) has officially been ruled out for the Week 4 game against the Green Bay Packers. Despite reports that Jones was holding out hope that he could play this weekend despite suffering a severe high-ankle sprain in the Week 3 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, he did not practice all week and will not play on Sunday. There's a good chance he'll miss multiple games as well, meaning veteran Brian Hoyer is now in line to lead this offense, beginning in Week 4 against Green Bay. Jones will surely be trying to suit up in Week 5 against the Detroit Lions, but it remains to be seen if that will actually happen. With Hoyer in there, fantasy managers need to downgrade all of the Patriots' offensive skill players.
