Luke Weaver Notches Quality Start on Tuesday

Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Luke Weaver was a tough-luck loser on Tuesday night against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Weaver went six innings, allowing three runs on seven hits to go along with five strikeouts. The young righty has gotten off to a great start this year after a disappointing 2018 campaign. Weaver looks like the promising young pitcher that the D-backs hoped for when they acquired him via trade in the offseason. The right-hander will take a 3.16 ERA into his next start against the San Diego Padres.
