Luis Severino Takes Loss Thursday
Luis Severino made one big mistake Thursday against the Houston Astros, and it was enough to saddle him with the loss, as the Yankees fell 3-2 in Game 2 of the ALCS. With one swing, third baseman Alex Bregman hit a three-run shot over the left field wall and dealt the Yankees a deficit they could not come back from. Severino lasted 5 1/3 innings, allowing five hits and a walk while striking out six. He has a 4.91 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with 12 strikeouts in 11 postseason innings thus far.
