Luis Severino Activated And Starting Wednesday
2 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (lat) was activated from the 60-day injured list and is starting against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday. Although the matchup is a good one, Severino will be a little more risky than usual since it will be his first start back in the big leagues since July 13. However, the 28-year-old right-hander should be rostered in the majority of fantasy leagues for the final few weeks of the regular season as the Yankees attempt to lock down the American League East. Before getting injured in early July, Severino had gone 5-3 with a 3.45 ERA (4.03 FIP), a 1.07 WHIP, 95 strikeouts and 25 walks in 86 innings over his 16 starts.
