Minnesota Twins infielder/outfielder Luis Arraez (knee) is absent from Friday's lineup for the game against the Angels. Arraez will miss his third straight game after being forced to exit Tuesday's game due to right knee soreness. Manager Rocco Baldelli said that his knee hasn't gotten any worse, and that the club would make a decision on him one way or another Friday. The team hasn't announced a move to the injured list yet. Trevor Larnach will get another start in left field, with Brent Rooker also entering the lineup. Larnach was in the midst of a brutal stretch but has collected a hit in each of his last two games, perhaps putting the slump behind him. He'll be batting fourth in the Minnesota order, a prime spot for run-producing even without Nelson Cruz.--Tim Capurso
