Lonnie Chisenhall Still Has Calf Soreness
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates general manager Neal Huntington said that outfielder Lonnie Chisenhall (calf) has continued calf soreness and will "take some time here." Chisenhall has been out all year with a fractured right index finger and now the calf issue, and it's concerning since he played in just 29 games last year with the Indians due to calf issues in both legs. There's no timetable for his return at this point. Whenever he does make his season debut for the Bucs, the 30-year-old will be a platoon corner outfielder in Pittsburgh against right-handed pitchers.
