Logan O'Hoppe Crushes Solo Home Run Wednesday
4 months agoLos Angeles Angels catcher Logan O'Hoppe went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a single Wednesday night in a 2-1 loss to the Colorado Rockies. Rockies pitcher Kyle Freeland stymied all but O'Hoppe on the evening as he was the only one to muster up any offense. The home run was the catcher's 15th on the season which set a new career-high and that number will only keep climbing with two months left on the campaign. The 24-year-old is top five in batting average (.281) runs scored (47), hits (91), and home runs among catchers and top-10 in RBI (44). He has been excellent in every facet of the game this season. Assuming he keeps producing in every category and ends the season with around 25 home runs, he could be a potential top-five catcher off the board in fantasy drafts next season.
