Logan Henderson Diagnosed With Flexor Strain
Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Logan Henderson (elbow) has been diagnosed with a flexor strain, manager Pat Murphy announced. It's relatively good news, though, as Murphy explained that Henderson avoided damage to his UCL and "shouldn't be out too long." The Brewers placed Henderson on the 15-day IL on Friday, but they made the move retroactive to Aug. 4. That means he'll be eligible to rejoin the team in about a week and a half at the earliest. The 23-year-old rookie has only picked up five starts this season, but he has made them count. Henderson has opened his career 3-0 with a 1.78 ERA, a .99 WHIP, and 33:8 K:BB in 25 1/3 innings.
