L'Jarius Sneed Will Play Against Eagles
2 years agoKansas City Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed (knee) was upgraded to a full practice on Friday and was removed from the final injury report for the Super Bowl. He will play in Sunday's big game against the Philadelphia Eagles, which could be bad news for Eagles receiver A.J. Brown. Sneed suffered a concussion in the AFC Championship win against the Cincinnati Bengals. He cleared the league's concussion protocol early this week but picked up a minor knee injury in practice on Thursday. The 26-year-old should play his regular role in the Chiefs secondary while trying to slow either Brown or DeVonta Smith. During the regular season, Sneed had a career-high 108 tackles (75 solo), five tackles for loss, five QB hits, 3.5 sacks and three interceptions. He'll have to play well to slow down Jalen Hurts and company.
