The Detroit Lions agreed with free-agent linebacker Chris Board on an undisclosed one-year deal on Monday night, according to a source. Board has been a special teams standout and a situational defensive player for the Baltimore Ravens, who made an effort to re-sign him. He's expected to compete for a starting spot on defense in Detroit this year. The 26-year-old has appeared in all but two games for the Ravens in his four seasons in the NFL. In those four years, Board has accumulated 94 tackles (52 solo), three tackles for loss, seven QB hits, 2.5 sacks and two forced fumbles in 63 games (two starts). He entered the league in 2018 as an undrafted free agent out of North Dakota State.--Keith HernandezRead More News
