4 years agoChicago White Sox shortstop/outfielder Leury Garcia (back) is dealing with some mid-back soreness in summer camp, but the team isn't very worried about it. He was replaced in the intrasquad game on Thursday by Nicky Delmonico. It sounds as though Garcia should be back soon, and barring any setbacks, should be ready to go by Opening Day. You won't be targeting Garcia for his power in fantasy in deeper formats, but the 29-year-old switch-hitter can give you a solid average and stolen bases. Garcia hit .279/.310/.378 with eight home runs, 40 RBI, 93 runs scored and 15 steals in 140 games for the Pale Hose in 2019.
