Leonard Fournette Good To Go Against Raiders
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette (ankle) is "good to go" for Week 7 against the Raiders, according to head coach Bruce Arians. Fournette sat out in Weeks 4 and 6 and played only one snap in Week 5. It complicates things in Tampa's backfield, but Fournette will likely provide a change of pace to running back Ronald Jones II, contributing in the screen game and helping to wear down the opposing defenses late in the game. He has averaged 5.1 yards per touch this year and has 157 scrimmage yards (123 rushing). Even though the 25-year-old will be active and have a role against Las Vegas, Jones has firmly established himself as the team's lead back with Fournette injured in recent weeks. He should only be in play as a flex option in deeper leagues, and even then he has little upside in his return.
