Lawyers For Henry Ruggs III Want Evidence Omitted
3 years agoFormer Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III faces years behind bars. The 23-year-old was released by Vegas last season after crashing his Corvette into another vehicle operated by a young woman, killing her. However, Ruggs' lawyers are now arguing that since he was injured and didn't perform a field sobriety test at the accident scene, there wasn't "true" probable cause to obtain the sample needed to determine his blood-alcohol level. Nonetheless, Ruggs and his legal advisors will undoubtedly do everything possible to avoid prison time despite his BAC allegedly being well above the limit. Still, even if he miraculously dodges a conviction and can play in the future, it's doubtful any team would want to sign him. Dynasty managers who have him on the roster can drop him without thinking twice.
