ESPN's Field Yates expects the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to re-sign impending free-agent linebacker Lavonte David this offseason. If the Buccaneers commit to a youth movement and a rebuild, perhaps David isn't retained. However, Yates firmly believes that he carries immense value for the franchise, regardless of where they are in their trajectory. The 33-year-old veteran brings plenty of leadership qualities and had 124 tackles, three sacks and five pass breakups in 2022. He has spent all 11 of his NFL seasons with Tampa and has gone over 100 combined tackles in all but two of those seasons. David should continue to be attractive in IDP fantasy leagues in 2023, regardless of where he's playing.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
