Washington Capitals center Lars Eller scored in overtime to help the team beat San Jose 5-4 on home ice on Sunday. The visitors controlled most of the game, but the Caps came alive right at the death, overcoming a multi-goal deficit in the final minute of regulation to win for the first time in franchise history. Jakub Vrana and T.J. Oshie scored in the final minute before Eller provided the game-winner. The Dane has now scored in back-to-back outings, finishing both games with two points. He has points in six of the past eight games, which marks his best run of the season. The veteran center is up to 10 goals and 24 points for the year.--Taavi Pailk
