Larry Nance Jr. Plays Well In Third Game Back From Injury
6 years agoCleveland Cavaliers center Larry Nance Jr. had a solid all-around game in his third game back from injury on Thursday. He scored 11 points on an efficient 5-for-8 shooting, to go along with six rebounds, five assists, and three steals, in 28 minutes. With Kevin Love (foot) out, Nance took advantage and was easily the best big man for the Cavaliers on Thursday. Whether he’s starting or coming off the bench, Nance Jr. will contribute solidly for the Cavaliers this season. If any impatient owners dropped him, now would be a good time to pick him up. While he won't put up many gaudy stat-lines, he should be a top-100 player this season, with potential for more, if Love is injured for any prolonged stretches. If owners are still skeptical, they should monitor his next game Saturday against the Indiana Pacers to see if he’s worth a look.
