Landon Collins Could Be Cleared Soon

New York Giants strong safety Landon Collins (forearm) is still recovering from a second surgery on his fractured forearm and didn't take part in organized team activities, but he was able to run and is expected to be cleared in a few weeks. He said that he would like to take part in minicamp in mid-June, but it will come down to the decisions of the coaching staff and medical team. The 24-year-old had 104 tackles and two interceptions last season but fell out of favor with the old coaching staff. He should be fully healthy entering training camp, barring a setback, and is a tremendous asset to New York's secondary when he's healthy.
