The New York Jets have designated rookie running back La'Mical Perine (ankle) and kicker Sam Ficken (groin) to return to practice after both players were placed on Injured Reserve on Nov. 24. Perine and Ficken now have a chance to return before the end of the season, but they won't be guaranteed to be active for Week 15 against the Rams. Perine has 55 carries for 202 yards and two touchdowns while also adding 10 catches for 49 yards in his nine games played in his rookie season. He's unlikely to be fantasy relevant in single-year leagues the rest of the way as long as Frank Gore is still in the picture. New York just claimed kicker Chase McLaughlin off waivers on Tuesday, so he'll be given a shot to handle the kicking duties the rest of the way for the winless Jets.--Keith Hernandez
