Kyler Murray A Low-End QB2 Against San Francisco
12 months agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray had a solid showing in the team's Week 13 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers and should be ready to go fresh off the team's Week 14 bye. The matchup, however, isn't a great one, as the Cardinals will take on the San Francisco 49ers, who currently boast the league's top defense. Despite the tough matchup, the possibility exists that the 49ers could be missing up to seven of their defensive players, thereby opening a slight window for Murray. While he isn't a must-sit, Murray has yet to throw multiple touchdown passes in a game and San Francisco has allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to the position over the last five weeks. Even though Murray's rushing ability gives him a better floor than most, the brutal matchup makes Kyler no better than a low-end QB2.
