Kyle Schwarber Crushes 20th Home Run On Saturday
5 months agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Kyle Schwarber went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, and three RBI in Saturday's 8-0 win over the Cleveland Guardians. Schwarber blasted a three-run shot off Guardians pitcher Nick Sandlin in the bottom of the fourth inning to give the Phillies a 7-0 lead. Schwarber's homer traveled 418 feet with an exit velocity of 105.9 mph. It was his 20th long ball of the year. The 31-year-old is slashing .245/.370/.447 with 20 home runs, 60 RBI, 67 runs, and four stolen bases through 93 games in 2024. Schwarber will look to build on Saturday's monster performance in the series finale on Sunday and is a must-start in all league formats.
