6 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber returns to the lineup against Tyler Mahle and the Reds on Friday afternoon, batting sixth and playing left field. Schwarber rested Wednesday against the left-handed Francisco Liriano -- as well as last Saturday against a left-hander as well -- and the Cubs had the day off Thursday. Skinny Kyle has had a fairly consistent bounce-back season to the tune of 17 home runs, 39 RBI, 40 runs, an .876 OPS and he's even swiped three bags. He has a matchup rating of 110 against Mahle, making him a fine DFS play on the early slate. It would be nice if he was hitting higher than sixth, though.--Feldman Zach
