Kyle Rudolph Injures Ankle Monday Night
3 years agoNew York Giants tight end Kyle Rudolph (ankle) injured his ankle in the Monday night game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will not return. Rudolph hauled in his only target on the night for 28 yards before leaving with the injury. With the score 30-10 late in the fourth quarter, it doesn't make any sense for Rudolph to return, even if the injury isn't all that serious. Fellow tight end Evan Engram has caught two of his five targets for only 12 yards on a night where the Giants offense hasn't done much better with the return of running back Saquon Barkley (ankle). With a short turnaround for a Week 12 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, Rudolph may not be able to return, depending on the severity of his injury. If he's inactive next Sunday, Engram should see a few more looks in the passing game.
