Kyle Muller Sent Back Down After Tuesday's Start
2 years agoThe Atlanta Braves optioned left-hander Kyle Muller to Triple-A Gwinnett following his start against the Washington Nationals on Tuesday, in which he gave up two runs on six hits while walking one and striking out four in 4 2/3 innings. In corresponding moves, the team selected right-hander Silvino Bracho's contract from the minors and placed right-hander Huascar Ynoa (elbow) on the 60-day injured list. Muller has made only three starts for the Braves in 2022, allowing 11 earned runs on 13 hits (two homers) while walking eight and striking out 12 in 12 1/3 innings against the Texas Rangers, Miami Marlins and Nationals. He's allowed four earned runs in his last two starts over 9 2/3 frames.
