3 years agoCincinnati Reds shortstop Kyle Farmer is back in the starting lineup on Thursday against the Milwaukee Brewers after taking the day off on Wednesday due to general body soreness. Farmer is at the 6 and is hitting eighth against Brewers right-hander Adrian Houser. He is hitting .353 (6-for-17) with two home runs and three RBI in five games so far in July, but he's been pretty mediocre on the season as a whole with a .223 batting average, seven home runs and 28 RBI in 261 plate appearances. You could do worse than Farmer as a low-cost DFS option, but there isn't a whole lot of upside here at the bottom of Cincinnati's batting order.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
