Kris Bubic Looks Sharp in No-Decision
Kris Bubic continued his excellent start to the season versus the Minnesota Twins on Sunday. The left-hander tossed seven innings, allowing one earned run on two hits, while striking out nine batters in the no-decision. Bubic gave up a run in the opening frame, but was basically unhittable after that. The 27-year-old has been one of the biggest surprises in the league through the first two months of the season. He'll take a 1.45 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, and 70/20 K/BB ratio into his next start versus the Detroit Tigers. Bubic might put himself in the CY Young race if he continues pitching at this level.
