Kris Bryant To Stay In A Splint For A Couple More Weeks
1 year agoColorado Rockies outfielder Kris Bryant (finger) had another X-ray on his fractured left index finger on Monday, and it still showed a fracture. Bryant will remain in a splint for a couple more weeks. He's been on the injured list since July 22 and will remain there for a while longer. It's more bad news for the 31-year-old, who has missed his fair share of time in his first two years in Colorado. Given the fact that Bryant isn't going to return until around mid-September now, he's not going to have much time at all to contribute to fantasy lineups to close out the regular season. The four-time All-Star and former Rookie of the Year and MVP has played in just 65 games in 2023, hitting .251/.338/.379 with eight home runs, seven doubles, 23 RBI and 27 runs scored.
