Kris Bryant Exits Wednesday’s Contest
3 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant (hand) exited Wednesday's matchup against Philadelphia. While attempting to slide safely back to second base in the bottom of the first inning, Bryant's left hand was stepped on by Didi Gregorius, resulting in his premature departure. The veteran was wearing a protective mitten, which is good news, although his status is something fantasy managers should monitor moving ahead. With the All-Star break right around the corner, Bryant may not be back in the lineup until after then, opening the door for Patrick Wisdom to possibly get some extra work moving ahead.
