Kodai Senga Grabs Quality Start, Win
1 year agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Kodai Senga wasn't brilliant against the Miami Marlins on Wednesday, but he came away with a win nonetheless. Senga gave up two runs over six innings, though he only struck out three and gave up seven hits to go along with two walks. He was able to lower his ERA to a tidy 2.96 on the year and should get two more starts to finish out his first season stateside. The Japanese-born righty moved to 12-7 on the year. And though he walked a few too many people, he was all fantasy managers and the Mets could have asked for this season. He should go into 2024 as a top-25 starting pitcher.
