Columbus Blue Jackets right wing Kirill Marchenko had an amazing game against Carolina on Saturday, providing three goals in a 4-3 shootout victory. He had a pair of power-play goals in the second period and wrapped up his first career hat trick with a game-tying goal in the third. This also marks the first multi-point game of his career for Marchenko. He was on the ice for the 15th time in the NHL and recorded his eighth goal. The 22-year-old is still waiting for his first assist. Marchenko has left a good impression of himself during his first month in the league, but he's on the fourth line and that makes it difficult for him to score on a regular basis. The Russian winger logged just 2:51 of action in the opening period on Saturday before suddenly popping up with a pair of goals in the second and finishing with 13:54 of ice time in total.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
