Oakland Athletics reliever Kirby Snead (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list. Snead had been dealing with some arm issues before he was termed with a strain in his left shoulder. The 28-year-old will likely miss the first two months of the season, which already depletes a lackluster A's bullpen. Snead showed some potential as an above-average reliever in his rookie 2021 campaign with the Toronto Blue Jays, where he posted a 2.35 ERA (4.61 FIP) with seven strikeouts across seven appearances. Once he migrated west to Oakland, Snead completely derailed and composed a horrid 5.84 ERA this past season. Once the southpaw returns, he will likely serve as depth in the back of the A's bullpen.--Rephael Negnewitzky
