6/30:Los Angeles Dodgers super utility man Kike Hernandez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Rockies. Hernandez ended German Marquez's perfect game bid by destroying a sixth-inning fastball over the left-field wall. The 26-year-old has been crushing the ball lately, batting .333 with four HR and seven RBI. Given his multi-position eligibility and his hot hitting, Hernandez is worth a look in deeper leagues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
