Khris Middleton Declines $40.4 Million Player Option
1 year agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton has declined his $40.4 million player option and will be an unrestricted free agent this summer. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that a return to the Bucks on a new deal remains a possibility for Middleton. With him soon turning 32 and having a lengthy injury history, Middleton is looking to secure a multi-year deal. He was limited to only 33 games and 19 starts this past season, averaging 15.1 points and 4.2 rebounds with 4.9 assists in 24.3 minutes. Middleton is still an extremely productive player when healthy, and hopefully the worst is behind him injury-wise after he underwent successful surgery on his right knee following Milwaukee's first-round exit versus Miami.
