Khris Davis Looking Good In Return From Injured List
4 years agoTexas Rangers designated hitter Khris Davis (quad) continues to heat up after a prolonged stay on the injured list. In just his third game of the season, the veteran slugger went 2-for-4 with a triple during Monday's 3-1 loss to the San Francisco Giants. Davis is now 3-for-9 (.333) in the early going and adds depth to a strong lineup if he can generate similar results to his run from 2013-2018. From 2016-18, in particular, the right-handed hitter slugged at least 42 homers each year. The 33-year-old is in the final season of a two-year contract and with a limited market for designated hitters in recent years, he's no doubt motivated to have strong results.
