Los Angeles Angels closer Keynan Middleton will undergo an MRI on Monday due to elbow discomfort. He appeared in Sunday's game and got two outs before having to depart. It was the third game in four days for Middleton, who is just returning from the DL with elbow inflammation, so the fact that he needs an MRI on the same elbow is worrisome. Another trip to the DL seems possible if not probable at this point, as the Angels want to be careful with their young closer. Hold on to him for now, but continue to monitor the situation as the Angels will know more after the MRI on Monday.
