5 months agoLos Angeles Angels catcher Kevan Smith (head) left the game early in the bottom of the fourth inning on Tuesday after taking a foul tip off his mask. Smith, the backup to Jonathan Lucroy in Anaheim, was hitless in his two plate appearances before leaving the game. The 30-year-old has been good in limited time in 2019, though, batting .290 with a homer and five RBI in 73 plate appearances. He'll likely be checked for a concussion.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
