6 years agoDetroit Lions running back Kerryon Johnson faces a Jets front that ranked 24th against the run last year and did not do much to bolster it personnel-wise in the offseason. In every metric imaginable, the Jets defense ranked in the bottom third in fantasy points allowed to the running back position in 2017. It's impossible to know exactly how the Lions backfield will flesh out before Week 1 in terms of touches, but this is a nice spot for Johnson to show what he can do. With Detroit being heavy favorites against a rookie quarterback at home on Monday night, some positive game script may be in order to give Johnson some sneaky upside this week for the two-game Monday night DFS slate.--BobbyJA
