Kenta Maeda Pitches Well But Takes Loss Saturday
Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Kenta Maeda took his fifth loss of the season on Saturday against the Rockies, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits (including a solo home run) and two walks with nine strikeouts in seven innings. Maeda unfortunately only received one run of offensive support, as Rockies' German Marquez dominated the Dodgers. Maeda is now 5-5 on the season with a 3.36 ERA. He will look to continue his success against a decent Angels matchup Friday.
