Kenny Pickett Puts In Another Limited Practice
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett (concussion) was limited in practice on Thursday for the second straight day this week. Pickett remains in the league's concussion protocol after his second concussion of his first NFL season. The Steelers haven't announced a starter for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, so everything remains on the table, including Mason Rudolph getting his first start of the year over Mitch Trubisky if Pickett isn't cleared. Rudolph split first-team repetitions on Wednesday with Pickett being limited to individual drills. Whoever starts will be facing a Panthers defense that has been in the middle of the pack in 2022 in terms of fantasy points allowed per game to opposing QBs. Pickett hasn't gone over 200 passing yards in a game since Week 11 and has a 4:8 touchdown-to-interception rate in his first 10 NFL games.
