Kenny Pickett, Pat Freiermuth Clear Concussion Protocol
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett, tight end Pat Freiermuth and cornerback Levi Wallace have all cleared the league's concussion protocol and are all on track to play on Sunday night against the Miami Dolphins in Week 7. Pickett put in a full week of practice after leaving last week's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers early due to a head injury. The 24-year-old will return to starting duties and will continue being a low-end QB2 option in superflex leagues. Freiermuth missed the Week 6 game but will return for Sunday Night Football. The 23-year-old second-year tight end has 20 receptions (32 targets) for 235 yards and a touchdown in his five games so far this year. He'll be on the TE1/2 borderline for his return against Miami.
