Kansas City Royals third baseman Kelvin Gutierrez has been recalled from Triple-A on Tuesday. Hunter Dozier (chest) was placed on the injured list Monday, so Gutierrez will fill in at third base. Gutierrez hit .281/.300/.386 with a homer and 11 RBI during his 15 games in Kansas City this season. However, he'll likely split the duties with Cheslor Cuthbert until Dozier returns. Gutierrez may have some minimal fantasy value while Dozier is out, but he can be ignored in most leagues. He'll bat seventh and play third base versus lefty Eduardo Rodriguez on Tuesday.--Andy Webb
