Keibert Ruiz Has Four Hits At Triple-A
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers prospect Keibert Ruiz's hot streak continued on Thursday with a 4-for-5 performance at the plate. He singled twice, doubled, and homered. The 23-year-old catcher has hits in five of his last six games and is hitting .435 with three home runs and a BB-K ratio of 4-1 so far in July. On the year, Ruiz is hitting .301 with 12 home runs — tying a career-high — and a BB-K ratio of 20-18 in 37 games. He's twice been recalled to the majors this season but has accumulated just seven at-bats in six games. With the trade deadline approaching, Ruiz is a highly attractive trade chip should the Dodgers go looking for pitching help in the wake of the Trevor Bauer saga. He is ranked by Rotoballer among the Top 5 catching prospects for dynasty baseball and his value is on the rise.
