5 months agoPittsburgh Pirates third base prospect Ke'Bryan Hayes (finger) is on the seven-day minor league injured list with a right index finger injury. The injury doesn't seem very serious, but the team's No. 2 prospect per MLB Pipeline has also struggled in 58 games for Triple-A Indianapolis this year. The 22-year-old first-round pick in 2015 is hitting a disappointing .241/.333/.388 with three home runs, 29 RBI and eight stolen bases. With Colin Moran and Jung Ho Kang basically serving as placeholders for Hayes at the hot corner, the impressive prospect is still worth stashing in dynasty/keeper leagues and could see a call-up later this year if he picks it up in the minors this summer.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
