Keaton Mitchell 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Huge Contingent Upside As Handcuff
Keaton Mitchell could have a season reminiscent of his rookie campaign if the Ravens' lead RB, Derrick Henry, were to go down with an injury. Henry is now 31 years old, and as players age, they naturally become more injury-prone. That said, Henry has been remarkably durable in his career, so banking on him going down could be a fool's errand. Still, Mitchell possesses lightning-quick acceleration, and can blow past every player on an opposing defense with his elite speed. The Ravens have an excellent offense overall, and running quarterback Lamar Jackson puts a ton of extra stress on defenses on read-option plays and the like. Mitchell will have had plenty of time to recover from the ACL tear he suffered in December of 2023 once the 2025 NFL season rolls around, but as long as Henry is healthy, he's a workhorse back that will take the lion's share of the touches, relegating Mitchell to a mainly special teams role. Mitchell is an interesting dynasty stash, though, as Henry likely only has a few years in the NFL before he'll retire.
